Baptist Women's League 1945

The ladies of the church were key workers in the middle of the 20th century, and alongside the regular Sunday and evening meetings of the church held special meetings for women, to support and encourage each other. It was a time when many needed help – few were affluent, and several had to work in the mills to keep house and home together.
