Statement of
Faith
First and foremost, we are Christians. That is, we
believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died to take
the punishment for our sin (wrongdoing) and was raised from
death, conquering sin for all time.
The Bible states in John, Chapter 3 Verse 16:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have
eternal life.
Jesus came into the world for everyone because we are all
sinners. The good news is, that if we confess our sin and
repent (turn away from doing what we know to be wrong before
God) then God will forgive us. We believe that there is only
one way to God, and that is through a personal belief in the
Lord Jesus Christ and accepting that he took the punishment
for our wrongdoing.
